Warranty & After-Sales

Effective Date: January 13, 2026
Applicable Domain: udirc.com

Important Notice

This policy applies exclusively to orders placed directly on the UDIRC official website (udirc.com).

If your product was purchased through Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, or a local hobby retailer, please contact the original seller for after-sales service. UDIRC is unable to process warranty or return requests for third-party purchases.

Quick Summary (Please Read First)

  • Warranty coverage: 90 days from delivery
  • Coverage applies only to factory defects present before use
  • Crash damage, water damage, and wear items are not covered
  • Defective components are replaced individually, not entire vehicles
  • Video proof is required for all warranty claims

1. Warranty Period & Coverage Scope

UDIRC warrants to the original purchaser that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of shipment.

Warranty Duration:
90 days from the date of delivery.

Coverage Scope:
This warranty strictly covers manufacturing defects and assembly errors that existed prior to normal operation.

DOA (Dead on Arrival)

Any of the following must be reported within 7 business days of receipt:

  • Product does not power on or function
  • Missing parts
  • Shipping damage

Failure to report within this period will be considered acceptance of the product’s condition.

2. What Is Covered (Manufacturing Defects Only)

If a defect is confirmed, UDIRC will provide a replacement for the affected component.

Covered items include:

  • Electronics: Receiver, ESC, or transmitter failure not caused by water exposure, misuse, or polarity reversal
  • Assembly Issues: Missing screws, incorrect parts, or factory assembly errors
  • Motor: Early failure not caused by overheating, improper gearing, debris, or misuse

3. What Is NOT Covered (Exclusions)

RC models are high-performance hobby products. Damage resulting from operation, crashes, environmental exposure, or improper maintenance is not considered a defect.

The following items and situations are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Batteries: Consumable items; covered only if reported as DOA (dead or swollen) within 7 days
  • Crash Damage: Broken suspension arms, shock towers, chassis, body shells, bent drive shafts, or any impact-related damage
  • Servo Gears: Stripped gears caused by external force or collision
  • Water Damage: Corrosion or electrical failure caused by water, snow, mud, puddles, or moisture exposure
  • User Error:
    • Use of third-party or high-voltage batteries
    • Improper soldering or wiring
    • Incorrect gear mesh or drivetrain setup

4. Resolution Method – Module Replacement Policy

To provide faster service and reduce unnecessary international shipping, UDIRC operates a “Parts First” service policy.

  • If a component (e.g., servo, ESC, receiver) is confirmed defective, only the defective module will be replaced
  • Full vehicle replacement is not provided for single-component failures
  • Replacement parts are shipped free of charge during the warranty period

Installation Support

UDIRC will provide video tutorials, diagrams, or written guidance to assist with part replacement.
Basic component replacement is considered an essential and normal part of the RC hobby experience.

5. Returns & Refunds (Non-Warranty Cases)

If you wish to return a product due to personal preference or order error, the request will be handled under our Return & Refund Policy, not as a warranty claim.

  • Products must be unused, unmodified, and in original packaging
  • Return windows, restocking fees, and shipping responsibilities apply

👉 Please refer to our full
Return & Refund Policy

Important:
A warranty claim does not qualify the order for a return or refund. Warranty-related defects and customer-initiated returns are handled separately.

6. International Customers (UK, EU & Global)

For customers outside the shipping origin country:

  • Customs & Taxes: UDIRC covers the cost of warranty parts and outbound shipping. Any VAT, import taxes, customs duties, or clearance fees required by local authorities are the responsibility of the recipient.
  • Shipping Limitations: If delivery to a specific country or region is restricted or impractical, UDIRC reserves the right to offer a refund of the affected item’s value instead of shipping replacement parts.
