UDIRC SIERRA MAX UD1002P 1/10 4WD Brushless RTR RC Trophy Truck

I don't know where to begin. The shell is gorgeous metal flake with a lovely white pearl contrast. I disassembled the entire machine a reassembled it. I found it to be well thought out a very meticulous. All the part together form an incredible ridged fortress. The wheel tires and motor are perfectly matched. The Max is a monster. I am amazed at how strong the chassis is. I have pounded this unit through numerous batteries and have yet to make any repairs or adjustment. It drives so precisely and smooth. The straight rear axel will create traction roll but that is going to happen with any straight axel vehicle. The Max can handle it well if you learn haw to finesse her. She loves to go through nasty rugged terrain that other vehicles will fear. The caged body and strong shell make for a supper tough truck. She is super fast for a 3S RC.I have run several 2S packs as well and it loves them as well. I have 37 RC at present and I consider the Sierra Max to be among my top 3 along with My 1/5 ARRMA Outcast and Mohave 6S V2. I find that this seems to be the first vehicle I grab when I want to go out in the yard and have some fun. I am extremely blessed to live way out in the country and own 60 acres of the most perfect place to bash on. I am simply in heaven. I currently own 6 UDIRC vehicles and I am sure this will not be my last be any means. Thank you for understanding the correct way to introduce a new, insightful and unique way of bringing the marvelous RC vehicles to the world.

I ordered the car from UDIRC directly and it came quickly. I installed a XC C-10 ESC (120amp) and built a parallel wiring harness before I ran it. I ran it on 2 POVWAY 3s 5200mAh (10800 mAh total) for almost an hour.

I love how it drives, watching the suspension over chunky terrain is almost mesmerizing. The temps stayed decent the whole time and nothing broke. It does smooth smaller jumps very well.

I don't know if I would recommend this as a first car though (it can traction roll pretty easily), but it is a must have in my opinion for someone who has been in the hobby. I got mine on sale with a promo code for $370, which is a bargain IMO. I think it should definitely come with the parallel harness and probably a 120 amp esc at full price though. I will be tuning the diffs soon which I think will improve the traction roll.
I use Dumborc in almost all of my RC's so it coming with one installed was a plus. I will be paring it to my DDF-350 at some point.
Great Desert Truck!

This is my 5th UDIRC product. Each time I am rather suprised with performance and durability and value. It only has a 60amp esc which isn't enough in my opinion but out of the box it performs good and the design is fantastic. The motor and esc get good airflow, the suspension is awesome, I just needed a bit more preload adjustment. I put a sticker over the exposed rear bearing on the motor to keep dust and dirt from ruining that bearing. There is an empty spot where a second battery jumper can go, it should be provided since there are 2 battery trays, why not have the option to connect both batteries?
This truck is a direct competitor to the Traxxas UDR and Losi Baja Rey and at half the price it is a very good starting point. I have added the 10BL120 esc because I want my truck to run on dual 3000mah 4s packs and dual 5000mah 3s packs. The 2700kv motor seems adequate but at that kv, 4s is perfect. Maybe a tool that less on the pinion if running 4s. Right out of the box it ran great, but I do have another weak point. The exo cage under the body has a bit too much flex at the rear of the chasis. There is a bit of weight in the 2 full size spare tires and the plastic fuel cell that the cage flexes a bit too much in my opinion. The body is great and screws on in 12 places but at the rear its 2 screws and with the flex of the rear cage, it can crack the body at the rear corners. Thicker tube frame in the area from the rear shock mounting location to the fuel cell area? Thats the only issue I have found so far and that is not broken yet so we will see if its an issue at all.
This isn't a stunt truck, it isn't meant to be launched 20 feet in the air, its a scale looking desert racer, and used in a semi scale environment it is fantastic.

J'ai reçu ce trophy truck en parfaite état et très bien emballé en 11 jours en France.
Ce modèle RC est tout simplement magnifique et de très bonne manufacture, avec les améliorations apporter la souplesse des pneus, sur des suspensions, ainsi que sur le différentiel du pont arrière est génial 😄.
Seul "truc" qui est dommage, est d'avoir abandonné le variateur électronique ESC à double alimentation (double batterie) mais cela n'enlève rien à la beauté du trophy truck.

J'ai effectué un petit test, il est tout simplement époustouflant 🤩.

The quality of the udirc Sierra Max is excellent. The detail is excellent and from the electronics to the powertrain everything is well done. Can't wait to spend hours and hours with it. May even buy a second one.

Not driven it properly yet, but from what I have seen it appears to be well built and looks great in person
